Rehab Bud

Designed by Ishita Sisodia (B.A. Design '24), Rehab Bud is a two-sided platform that allows physical therapy patients to record their exercises and get real-time AI feedback on the accuracy of their form, while also tracking their recovery progress and holding them accountable.
ARRR.duino

At the MIT Reality Hack 2022, Zane Giordano built ARRR.duino, a cross-platform AR circuit design tool designed to teach younger students how to build basic circuits with Arduino.
The Inaugural In The Arena Award

Students from the Department of Design, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Jiwon Park, designed and constructed the physical award for the LBJ School of Public Affairs’ new In The Arena award. The inaugural award was presented to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in November 2018.
Woodland Digital Pet

This little stump holds an even tinier mouse friend inside! As a semester-long independent study, Nada Aburayyan set out to create a digital friend/pet toy like the ones from her childhood and the early 2000s. Learn more about AET '22 graduate Nada Aburayyan and her project, "Woodland Digital Pet."

Concert and Event Lighting Class Projects

AET students in Matt Smith's Concert and Event Lighting class visited High End Systems' demo room in Spring 2018 to display their end-of-semester projects. The added challenge? They had to draw songs out of a bowl and then create lighting effects in real time as the song played.
Cat and Rat Zodiac Narrative Enclosure

This enclosure retells the origin behind the Chinese Zodiac: a rat betrays a cat in order to deter the cat from finishing the race, with a focus on the specific moment where they choose to cross the river. Everyone can learn more about the Chinese Zodiac from this enclosure story!
Valkyrie Intelligence Formula 4 Race Car

UT Tower 3D Projection Mapping

A 3D projection-mapped, interactive model of The Tower at the University of Texas at Austin gets illuminated with '80s synthwave graphics and an interactive dance element made possible by an Xbox Kinect.

Independent project created with the fundamentals taught Professor Isaac Oster's 3D Materials and Lighting class. All models and textures are optimized and game-ready. Brought to life in Unreal 5 with Blueprints and Niagara particle systems.
