We are now offering College of Fine Arts Virtual Information Sessions held weekly for prospective students to learn more about our programs and chat with current students.
Additionally, we recommend prospective students register for a general University of Texas at Austin Virtual Information Session to learn more about all things UT.

Please submit a School of Design and Creative Technologies appointment request form at least one week in advance to inquire about our availability for a scheduled appointment. Fine Arts Information Sessions & Tours
The College of Fine Arts Information Session & Tour is held most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Download the Academic and Campus Resource Session Guide to view a complete list of upcoming dates and times. The session provides a presentation overview of degree programs within the School of Design and Creative Technologies, Department of Art and Art History, Butler School of Music, and Department of Theatre and Dance. The session also provides an introduction to the College's portfolio or audition requirements for admission to specific programs. Following the presentation, students and families interested in the School of Design and Creative Technologies take a tour of the facilities with a Student Ambassador.

Whether you're a prospective freshman or a prospective transfer student, participating in one of the university's tours will introduce you to the broader experience of attending UT and maximize your time on campus.

Individual Appointments and Group Tours
It may be possible to schedule an individual appointment or group tour to discuss the department’s programs and admissions process. Please fill out a School of Design and Creative Technologies Admissions Appointment Request at least two weeks prior to your planned visit, and someone from our admissions team will be in touch.
