Historically, female (as opposed to male) nipples have been considered as graphic, sexual body parts, to be highly censored by social media platforms. This censorship has prompted many activist responses, from the Free the Nipple movement, to the Genderless Nipple Instagram campaign.
If you’d like to build on this increasing feminist momentum, join a Feminist Internet Tomorrow’s Nipple workshop to explore the many ways we could be feeling, seeing, modifying and representing nipples in the not too distant future. You will work together to consider what the nipples of tomorrow should look like on the internet and beyond, and how these representations could advance equal rights for women or other marginalized groups.
