Undergraduate Admissions Coordinator
Nicole Terry (she/her) is the Undergraduate Admissions Coordinator for the Department of Art & Art History and the School of Design & Creative Technologies. Nicole focuses on inspiring prospective students to explore and apply to The University of Texas at Austin's fine arts programs by facilitating undergraduate recruitment events, information sessions, and creative outreach efforts. Nicole received her Bachelor of Commerce, with Distinction, from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, before moving to Austin.
Prior to joining UT Austin, Nicole worked with a variety of creative companies — ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations — supporting and hiring industry professionals in animation, video game development and design, live production and streaming, videography and photography, product and fashion design, graphic design, and post-production. Driving creative recruitment for companies in the new-age entertainment space has given Nicole a relevant understanding of employers, technologies, and areas of opportunity in the creative space — which she shares with students interested in pursuing similar career paths. After hours, Nicole spends her time hiking, painting, playing the newest RPGs, and planning her next solo backpacking trip across Asia.
Nicole would be happy to assist you with any inquiries about the College of Fine Arts admission process, programs, and upcoming student recruitment events.
