Public Guest Lecture with Kiel Mutschelknaus

SHARE

The Department of Design cordially invites you to a guest lecture with Kiel Mutschelknaus on November 4 at 5:30PM in ART 3.218.

About the speaker:

Kiel D. Mutschelknaus was born and raised in the Midwest, cutting his teeth in the Great Plains of South Dakota and graduating with a BA in Studio Art from Augustana College. After spending a few years in advertising, Mutschelknaus moved to the Detroit area to pursue his MFA in 2D Design at Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Jaded by cruel Midwest winters, Mutschelknaus moved to DC after graduation where he currently works as an educator and freelance designer/illustrator/animator. In his studio practice and classroom he  pushes the boundaries of conventional working methodologies and embrace the potential of the unknown and the amateur.
