About Letter Quest
In this workshop, Kelcey will guide attendees through twenty-six letter-making prompts — like revealing hidden letters in your environment or crafting new drawing tools — encouraging letterform awareness, originality, and confidence in making.
Kelcey will be joined by Design M.F.A. and curse-casting collaborator, Darya Pollock.
How to Attend:
This event is open and free to all UT design and SDCT community members—faculty, staff, and students of all levels are welcome! Letter Quest is accessible to everyone from beginners to experienced designers.
Attendees can sign up for the All-day pass (encouraged) or an in-and-out pass.
- ALL-DAY PASS - “I plan to attend the full event.”
- IN-AND-OUT PASS - “My schedule can’t afford me to attend the full event, but I’d like to pop in and make a few letters.”
All-Day passes now available. In-and-Out passes will become available Feb.7
See FAQ for more details on pass options.
Do's and Don'ts:
Costumes are encouraged! Whether it’s sword-and-sorcery, Harry Potter, Grimm's fairytales, or no costume at all, show up as your best self.
But leave the weapons at home, folks. No real or “fake” weapons will be permitted at the event. The only thing you’ll be fighting is your inhibitions.
Come to learn, practice, experiment, and play!
