Known Otherwise challenges the idea that knowledge is singular, objective, or fixed. Instead, it brings forward ways of knowing shaped by culture, memory, embodiment, and resistance—truths that exist beyond institutions and outside dominant narratives.

This exhibition explores sensemaking as a deeply personal and political act. Through materials, images, and practices, the work asks: How can design carry knowledge that is felt rather than explained, inherited rather than taught, or questioned rather than accepted?

Known Otherwise is both a proposition and an invitation—one that surfaces, disrupts, and reframes what has been assumed, overlooked, or erased. Here, meaning is not given—it is made, remade, and understood anew.
