Jodi Cutler is Senior Design Director at H-E-B. With nearly three decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to designing the conditions that bring out the best in people and organizations.
At H-E-B, Jodi leads with the belief that “because people matter,” business success and human experience should never be at odds. She shapes digital design strategy across the enterprise, guiding teams to create meaningful customer and partner experiences.
Before joining H-E-B, Jodi spent 16 years at IBM, where she helped pioneer enterprise design thinking and served as Design Principal and Practice Director for Watson Health. Her leadership spanned life sciences, oncology, imaging, and education, where she built design organizations, created career paths for designers, and advanced ethical approaches to data and AI in healthcare.
At UT, Jodi brings her expertise in collaboration, equity, and shared sense-making into the classroom, preparing students to navigate the complexities of design leadership in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Beyond her professional work, Jodi is a potter and artist who sees creativity as a practice for growth, connection, and resilience.
