Arts and Entertainment Technologies
Arts and Entertainment Technologies (AET) is an interdisciplinary major that merges creativity and innovation with the technologies revolutionizing the arts and entertainment industries. AET offers coursework across four emphasis areas: Game Development; Projection, Lighting and Interactivity (PLAI); Digital Visualization and Music and Sound.
The undergraduate Design program empowers students with a rich, multi-faceted educational experience that poises graduates for careers in the design professions or an entrepreneurial endeavor. Students learn how to solve problems and create new processes, products and services for people. A portfolio is required to apply to Design.

All Fine Arts majors require additional steps for admission, such as a portfolio, audition, interview or essay response.
All areas admit new students for fall semesters, only.
Select a Fine Arts major as your first-choice major when completing ApplyTexas.
