Associate Professor of Practice, Design

Scott works as an educator, designer, and author. Wielding knowledge from his past life in the practice of forensic structural engineering, he is sought out for his expertise in space design — teaching & speaking widely. As a former Stanford University fellow, Scott is also a co-designer of the’s space and a co-author of Make Space, a tool for creating collaborative environments. He is author of articles for The Conference Board and Harvard Business Review. His work has been featured in The Design Museum and magazines like Fast CompanyArchitecture and Urbanism, and Metropolis. In the School of Design and Creative Technologies’ emergent 3-D design offerings, he currently teaches courses on design thinking and prototyping physical spaces & behaviors.
