Kalyn (Saylor) Henderson

Kalyn (Saylor) Henderson is the Graduate Coordinator for the School of Design and Creative Technologies. She earned her B.A. in Art History and Public Relations from Virginia Tech and received her M.A. in Arts Management along with a certificate in Special Events and Festivals from George Mason University. Kalyn completed a year-of-service as an AmeriCorps VISTA supporting LEAF Community Arts in Asheville, NC. She was also the Manager of Programs and Resources for the Association of Performing Arts Professionals in Washington, DC. Recently, she worked as the Workshop Manager for Art With Impact, a fully remote organization based in San Francisco, CA. Before moving halfway across the country, Kalyn spent 19 months traveling full-time and working remotely as an independent consultant before setting down roots in Austin, TX.
