Assistant Professor of Practice, Design
Jason Wilkins joined the design faculty of the School of Design and Creative Technologies (SDCT) at its inception in 2017. His work with the design studio, Dyal and Partners, can be seen around some of Austin’s most prominent institutions, having designed the brand identities for The University of Texas at Austin, The Blanton Museum of Art, and KUT and KUTX.
As a graphic designer, he works in branding, wayfinding, signage, and experiential graphics, largely centering his work around cultural and not-for-profit organizations.
Jason is also active in the Austin community where he serves as an advisory board member for Austin Design Week, is a curatorial board member for Pecha Kucha Austin, teaches graphic design to high school students as part of SDCT’s Summer Design Institutes, and is a co-founder of Curb, a free after-school skateboard program serving elementary through high school students.
