ABOUT THE INSTITUTES

Game Design
The Game Design camp will tackle the full process of game development, starting with ideation and concept development, sketching layouts, creating a "whitebox" to preview the space in 3D, importing art and sound assets to the Unity game engine, and using C# to script basic gameplay elements like locked doors and traps. At the end of the camp, each camper will have created a complete playable game of their own design which they can use as a portfolio piece when applying for college.

No prior experience is required.

PORTFOLIO PREPARATION

Upon finishing this course, students will have built and designed a completed game to use as a portfolio piece when applying to colleges.
