"Developing entrepreneurs who think like artists and artists who think like entrepreneurs"

—Jan Ryan, Executive Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The College of Fine Arts is a college of creators. We celebrate innovators, artists, designers and creatives, and we are committed to empowering our students with the mindset, skill set and practice necessary to start new ventures and to think like entrepreneurs.  We believe the age of the "starving artist" is over. In the complex, interconnected world we live in, the seeds of entrepreneurship will yield fruit across a lifetime. Everyone has the capacity to be creative, everyone has a story, and each of us has a unique capacity to move the world.

Pathways to Entrepreneurship

The College of Fine Arts' new “Pathways to Entrepreneurship” program brings outside speakers and targeted content to students each semester, including large venue gatherings and smaller, topic-driven roundtables.
